By Air:

By Rail:
The nearest Railway station to Chatel (around 25 Minutes ) is at Aigle in Switzerland, The train for Aigle can be found on Platform 3
on the lower floor at Geneva Airport.

By Road: from the UK
Please make sure you bring snow chains with you as you can be
stopped in bad conditions by the police in France
The most direct route is, after passing Dijon on the A39 take the
A36 via Besancon, over the Jura mountains entering Switzer-land at
Jougne, continuing along the N57 arriving on the north shore of lake
Geneva at Laussanne, follow route 9 (direction of Gdrd St Bernard,
Simplon ) east along the lake shore passing Montreux. Follow route 9
to Junction 18 and turn off for Monthey. Follow the signs at the
first roundabout ( under the railway bridge) for Pas de Morgins. At
the next roundabout (Nr Mac Donald's ) go through the tunnel and
follow the road up and through the Swiss resort of Morgins. Carry on
through Morgins and enter Chatel through the pass de Morgin.

By Road: from Geneva Airport
On leaving Geneva International airport head out of the car hire
area and head for the centre of Geneva and then the lake. Head for
the south side of the lake around the west end ( by the fountain 80m
high ). The route you require is along the south side of the lake in
the direction of Evian and Thonon. Enter Thonon ( after about 45
minutes ) and on passing the Buffalo Grill restaurant on your right
take the first turning right to Evian . This takes you on the Thonon
Bypass. Head down the bypass until junction 1 ( Morzine, Chatel etc.
). Follow the signs for Chatel.
Make sure your car has snow chains and snow tyres as it is illegal
to drive in snow in France without them.
Chalet Directions
From the town:
Head out of town past the bus station to the mini roundabout by the
Primary School, Turn first left and head down the hill , turn right
around the hairpin and follow the road to the T junction at the
bottom of the valley. Turn right and follow the road past the
Chalets on the right until you reach the speed derestriction signs,
The Turning to Les Dentes Blanche is by the dere-striction signs.
Head up the drive and follow it to the highest Chalet on the left,
this is Chalet Cascade.
From Geneva:
Follow the road up the valley through Richbourg, and Chappelle
Abondance until you reach the first roundabout on this road, take
the first right and follow the road past the Intermarche. Les Dentes
Blanche is 500M past the Intermarche on the left. Chalet Cascade is
the highest Chalet on the Left side of Les Dentes Blanche.
